Jean Paul Uzabakiriho is a designer with MASS Design Group in Kigali, which he joined as an intern. He completed his undergraduate studies at the School of Architecture of the University of Rwanda and as a student, he participated in the traveling studio that analyzes different architectures in various countries of East Africa. Placed at MASS as a Global Health Corps (GHC) Fellow, he was the construction administrator for the second phase of the Doctors’ Housing Butaro. He attended the Building Design and Engineer Approach for Airborne Diseases course at Harvard University to understand the design considerations for all health infrastructure, and he is currently working on the design of the University of Global Health Equity-UGHE Housing that will be constructed in Butaro.
